YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE AN HOUR AGO (1967)

When SURFER Magazine polled thousands of readers to pick the world's best, Phil Edwards won by a mile. "He was so great," says one aficionado, "that he could ride in with a paper bag over his head and you would instantly know who it was." In this classic, Edwards tells what it's like to surf from the top...and he should know! This copy is in great condition for its age -- nearly 40 years old! Dust jacket has small tears around perimeter as shown in scan. Cloth binding is tight. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. We call it a Betty-minus, at least 75 percent of mint. Copyright 1967 by Robert K. Ottum. Hardbound with dust jacket. 178 pages. Measures approximately 7 1/4 inches by 10 inches. From the Tom Sims Collection. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look. Sold at $375.
