THE FANTASTIC PLASTIC VOYAGE (1969)

The Fantastic Plastic Voyage is Brian St. Pierre's unique account of a South Pacific adventure that brought together some of the world's greatest surfers. St. Pierre was part of a movie company that followed 14 young American surfers to Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. The result was The Fantastic Plastic Machine, the first wide-screen, full-length surf movie ever made. Talent includes Skip Frye, Mickey Munoz, Steve Bigler, Mike Purpus, and Margo Godfrey. This copy is in very good condition, about 80 percent of mint. Some small tears and superficial stains on dust jacket. Previous owner's name is written in ink on the inside front cover (front endpaper). Complete and intact with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Copyright 1969 by Brian St. Pierre. 253 pages.
