Vintage Collectibles - Magazines - Surfer Magazine - 1960's

This packed early issue includes "The Greatest Surf in the World: Laniakea," "Killer Capo on a Cat," Phil Edwards speaking out on contests, a full-color Rincon center spread, a Long Island pictorial, an "Offshore Voyage" to San Miguel Island, and Rick Griffin's Murphy's Adventure in Downunderland.

Exceptionally clean issue but with bunted and bent upper right hand corner that affects all of the pages. Two tiny tears at bottom edge of cover. Subscription envelope intact. Features Phil Edward's article on contests and the beginning of lots more color shots with Rincon as the feature break. No cutouts, tears or missing pages. 68 pages of Betty quality (80 percent of mint).

We have a second copy of this issue in slightly lesser condition, about 75 percent of mint.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
