"Surf City, here we come." Popular Imports recently unveiled its Surf City Luminary House and we figured it was just kooky enough for us.
It's a colorful three-dimensional metal motel, complete with palm trees, woodies parked out front, surfboards, and all the hokie trimmings. The backside of the motel has a hinged door to accommodate a tea-light candle or small light.
This hand-painted piece was designed by native Californian Fred Bonn, who has a keen interest in 50s nostalgia. He has been doing this unique style of art since 1970.
Measures approximately 9 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches tall. Made in China.
