SKATEBOARDER MAGAZINE VOLUME 2, NO. 2 (1975)

A Surfer Publication. John Severson must have taken a decade or so off between the first and second volumes of Skateboarder, since the first volume was published in 1965 and the second in 1975. Perhaps he devoted more time to his first love, SURFER. You can definitely see the style change in 10 years...the cosmic day-glo colors, the helmetless long hair replacing the crew cuts of the mid-sixties. Tony Alva, Nathan Pratt, Greg Weaver, and Stacy Peralta steal the show. This issue is in Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Moisture ripple affects front cover where a drink was set on it at one time. Some fingerprints along right edge of front cover. Otherwise very light wear to cover and spine. Minimal pulling at staples. Complete and intact with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
