SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 28, NO. 9 (1987)

In memory of Buttons Kaluhiokalani.  His cover shot provides a little color as he power washes Warren Bolster's gum sockets on the South Shore.

Tom Curren dons a tuxedo for the "World Title Finale." Derek Hynd introduces "The New ASP Top 30." A "Reckless Ballet" pictorial features some incredibly hollow Kirra. Young Jason Buttonshaw make a name for himself inside a beauty. Also includes a New Zealand travel feature, "Jungle Love: Pressure Drop on the Road to Uppers," and a bodyboarding pictorial with commentary by Mike Stewart. Plus an Israel travel feature and a Ronnie Burns profile.

This magazine is in very good or Betty-plus condition, about 85 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts.
